Doug Roland is a New York City native based in Los Angeles.  With a passion for storytelling and collaboration, Doug has had the privilege of acting in a variety of invigorating projects. 

Most recently, he was a lead in the feature film Prism, which won best ensemble at the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival.  Other recent film credits include The Curiosity (dir. Travis Beacham, creator of Amazon’s Carnival Row and Pacific Rim), and Life Hack (starring Derek Wilson of AMC’s Preacher and with Devin Ratray of Nebraska and Blue Ruin).

A seasoned theater actor, Doug has performed in many theaters throughout New York City (59e59, The Flea, The Living Theater), and recently made his LA stage debut at 2nd Stage.  He has also worked frequently as a commercial and voice over actor.

Doug is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, where he studied acting and filmmaking, and is a graduate of the acting conservatory at Michael Howard Studios.  For more on Doug as a filmmaker, check out dougrolandfilms.com.
